Brands, retailers and professionals from across the bathroom and kitchen sector are invited to end their year on a high by putting themselves in the running for a prestigious accolade in the only awards scheme that is designed for you and decided by you.

Entering the awards is quick, easy and free. The online entry form takes just moments to complete and, as always, nominations are highly encouraged – and can be submitted using the same online form.

Business manager Carl Hearnden comments: “For five years, the BKU Awards has been the pinnacle of excellence in the bathroom and kitchen sector – and has provided a platform for the voices of the people at the heart of the industry.

“There have been a number of changes to the scheme which will only emphasise the value of a BKU Award, so I’m looking forward to seeing this year’s entries and nominations come flooding in.”

What’s new?

The fifth edition of the BKU Awards marks the introduction of a brand new category; the Social Corporate Responsibility Award sponsored by Used Kitchen Exchange. This new award will recognise a brand or retailer that has demonstrated a clear commitment to the future, through the implementation of sustainable practises, environmental awareness and community initiatives.

This new category joins the existing line up of coveted accolades, the full details of which can be found on the BKU Awards website along with relevant criteria.

There have also been a number of changes implemented in the decision-making stage, to ensure that the industry’s true winners take home a trophy. While the power will still be handed back to the industry, companies are no longer permitted to vote for themselves – so those in the running must rely solely on their impeccable reputations and the support of those who work alongside them in the industry. The full terms & conditions of voting can also be found on the BKU Awards website.

Finally, the awards ceremony itself has undergone a revamp for 2019. The next wave of BKU Awards winners will be revealed at a glamorous luncheon taking place at a stunning new venue, The Pavilion at The Tower of London, on Thursday 20 June. The new daytime format of the event will allow even more industry professionals to attend and be a part of this key date on the KBB calendar.

Tables at the 2019 ceremony can be secured at discounted early bird rates on the BKU Awards website using a new simple and secure online payment system. However, these discounted table rates are in limited supply, so those that wish to attend are encouraged to book now to avoid disappointment.
